    The Dovetail has been offering nationwide "white glove" delivery of  J.L. Treharn & Co. since 1998 and has used a premier blanket-wrapped carrier. 

    I have structured my shipping rates to give the customer the advantage of avoiding the use of a freight company for their delivery.  I will NOT allow my furniture to be placed in a poorly designed makeshift cardboard box, then banded to a wooden pallet and ask my customer to off-load it from the back-end of a freight truck with no assistance from the driver.  The chance of your furniture arriving at your home undamaged is slim at best.  Furthermore, who is going to assemble your bed or set-up a two piece china cupboard as well as inspect it?  Have you ever had to argue a damage claim with a freight company; good luck!

    The shipping rates shown here are based on the value of your order and will be paid by the customer; any charges beyond this amount will be paid by us.  The Dovetail recognizes that shipping charges today are huge and we are willing to shoulder the additional expense to insure your furniture arrives safely, set-up in the room of your choice, assembled and inspected.  In the unlikely chance that a piece is damaged, it will be returned to the manufacturer for repair or replacement, then redelivered to you for no additional delivery charge.  You are not responsible for paying for that piece until it is returned to you in perfect condition.
